Who was Balbir Singh Sr. ?



Balbir Singh Sr. was a Hockey player or I should say a Legend.  He is a three-time Gold medalist team mate having played a key role.

Balbir Singh Sr.  Early Life

He was born on 31st December 1923, Haripur Khalsa, British India. His age was 95 at the time of Death.
His zodiac is Capricon.
Balbir Sir saw a newsreel on India,1936 Olympic Hockey Triumph. He was spotted as a promising star by Hockey Coach of Khalsa, Harball Singh.,
Barball Sir, repeatedly insisted to transfer Balbir Sir from Sikh National College, Lahore, to Khalsa College, Amritsar.
Finally, he got permission from Balbir Sir family regarding the transfer.
After that, They both started with intense practice.
Later, Harbail Sir started coached the successful national hockey team at Helsinki and Melbourne Olympics.
He made his international debut in 1948 against Argentina in London Summer Olympics.and rest is history.

On, 25 May, 2020, He left this world at 6.30 A.M.
Death Reason: Multiple Health Issues.
